I was extremely involved in different activities in myJun 06 2012Communications
I was extremely involved in different activities in my high school, participated in sports, did community service, and had a really great GPA. Having said all that, I did not do very great on the SATs and did not get into my first choice school. Looking back on it, however, I truly believe the saying "everything happens for a reason" because I really couldn't see myself happy anywhere else.

Be super involved inJun 06 2012Communications
Be super involved in extracurricular activities! Marist expects their students to be involved on campus and in the community, it shows a lot if you were involved in high school and had leadership positions. Also, be sure to challenge yourself to more difficult classes (and do well in them!) Marist is increasingly becoming more popular, and therefore more selective. Do everything you can to show you can excel with academics and socially!
ACT: 27 SAT: 1790 Female
I was very involved with a lot of extraJun 06 2012Math
I was very involved with a lot of extra curricular actives including playing sports and a lot of community service. I visited Marist more than 3 times and worked hard in school! I also would suggest doing a shadow day at Marist to get the feel of a day in the life of a Marist student.
ACT: 29 Female
I believe that Marist does not require SAT scoresJun 06 2012Accounting
I believe that Marist does not require SAT scores. Write a unique essay and participate in extracurriculars or volunteer service.
SAT: 1280 Female

I did a lot of extra carriculars, marist loves that. Show some drive and determination when applying and you can get in. As for sports if you're pretty high up there marist has a good GIRLS basketball team.
